Officials in Trinidad and Tobago are in hot water after reports surfaced that they spent over $800,000 on a concert featuring Nicki Minaj.
The concert, which was featured on her “My Time Now” MTV documentary, was part of the country’s “Localise It” fest a fashion show and live performances.
The rapper, who is of Trinidadian descent, was paid a large portion of the $825,000 spent—- $382,000, $60,000 of which was spent on hotel expenses.
