'The Divergent Series: Insurgent' stars select a faction for Kanye West

Stars from the new film Insurgent told theGrio which faction they feel Kanye West would be in.
The Divergent Series music supervisor Randall Poster told MTV News in March 2014 that West’s album Yeezus influenced his direction for the films’ sound.
“One of the great creative breakthroughs we had was that we, talking to Neil Burger the director, really looked at Kanye’s Yeezus record and ‘Black Skinhead’ in particular and said, ‘You know what, musically this sounds like the world of Dauntless,'” Poster said.
Dauntless is one of the series’ factions. Dauntless are brave and fearless. The other factions include: Erudite (intelligent), Amity (peaceful), Abnegation (selfless) and Candor (Truthful). There is also a group called Factionless, who do not fit in to any one specific group.
TheGrio asked Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Octavia Spencer and Miles Teller to weigh in with their thoughts as to which faction Kanye West would fit into.
“I think he would probably be Dauntless,” said Woodley, who stars at the film’s leading protagonist, Tris Prior. “He seems like someone who doesn’t really have a filter and says what he feels, and I feel like that’s a very Dauntless trait.”
James suggested West would fit into Dauntless as well, but then changed his mind. “He’s Candor,” James decided. “He wears things on his chest.”
“I wouldn’t even begin to try to categorize [West],” Spencer said of the talented artist.
Teller has his own idea, saying “Kanye would have his own faction” and suggesting “it would probably be called Jesus Faction or God Complex Faction.”
