Rep. Michele Bachmann may be retiring from Congress after next year — but she isn’t going away quietly.

The outspoken conservative accused President Barack Obama of “rewriting the Constitution…as a part of his effort to fundamentally transform the United States of America,” during an appearance on Fox News.

Although the Congresswoman failed to cite a single example of how the president has tried to break the law, she insists that delays in implementing the Affordable Care Act are all part of a larger conspiracy engineered by the White House.

Bachmann was unimpressed when she was reminded by anchor Martha MacCallum that the president is a former constitutional law professor.

“He doesn’t want to be bound by any law, and that’s the rub. The Constitution says no man is above the law, including the president of the United States,” Bachmann added. “I think the president would be very, sorely unimpressed with what he hears today.”

As House Republicans lead hearings on the use of executive power, the Obama administration welcomed positive news of smoother use of the HealthCare.gov website and a surge of enrollment in the health care reform plan.
