WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats are planning to take action against the congressman who heckled President Barack Obama.
House Democrats want more of an apology from South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson for last week’s outburst during Obama’s health care speech.
Even though Wilson apologized to the president, they want him to apologize for his outburst again — this time on the House floor — and if he doesn’t, they’re planning to introduce a resolution of disapproval.
Wilson has said he has no plans to apologize further and last week rejected requests from GOP leaders that he take to the house floor and apologize.
