A Fort Myers, Florida Wendy’s employee was arrested after deputies say she attacked a customer in the drive-thru Saturday.

Rictoria Bethea, 21, an employee at the Wendy’s located on Palm Beach Boulevard, told Chloe Glover to speak up several times when Glover was placing her order Saturday afternoon according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report.

“No one can ever sit and say they’ve never had to deal with a rude customer,” said Bethea. “I want respect. You give me respect, I give you mine.”

During the exchange, Bethea said, “There’s no need to disrespect me, because I will go out there and kick you’re a**,” the report said. “It was verbal going back and forth. Words were exchanged,” said Bethea.

As Glover drove forward, Bethea reportedly walked out of the restaurant, approached the passenger side of Glover’s car and told her to lower the window. When Glover did so, Bethea grabbed and pulled Glover’s hair, ripping out her extensions.

Jarvis Smith said he was working fries that night and says he watched as Bethea took off her headset and headed into the parking lot. “Out the window, I see her walking toward the car and I’m like, ‘Oh, crap. She’s outside,’” he said. “There were punches flying. Rictoria actually landed one.”

Bethea says she never actually touched anyone. “I’m a kind-hearted person, good-hearted,” she said. Bethea was later arrested and taken to Lee County Jail, where she was charged with Occupied Burglary with Battery.

Monday shee was released on $5,000 bail Wendy’s had no comment on what deputies say took place, but Bethea says she was told not to come back to work.
