Three adults were killed and at least a dozen students were injured when a tractor-trailer collided head-on with a school bus in Mississippi Tuesday afternoon.
About 60 students were headed home to Choctaw County after visiting Ole Miss for a senior trip.
Ackerman High student Zack Hatchett said the students on his bus saw the 18-wheeler run head-on into the other bus.
“Everybody was just in shock it was like it happened one second everything was fine and the next second it was just like life flashing in front of our eyes,” Hatchett said.
A coach, a teacher and the driver of the 18-wheeler were killed.
It is not clear why the accident happened.
