MC Hammer has been sued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for more than $775,000 (£496,427) in back taxes.
The ‘U Can’t Touch This’ rapper – born Stanley Burrell – is said to owe a staggering $779,585 (£499,364) to the US government after failing to file proper returns for several years stemming back to 1996, reports TMZ.
The IRS is said to be asking for all earnings from MC Hammer’s concert appearances to be handed over in full in order to begin paying off the owed amount.
