From NBC Connecticut: Comedian and activist Bill Cosby is coming back to Connecticut to support education.
He will appear in Hartford on Friday night to help a magnet high school raise $100,000 for college scholarships for its students.
Capital Preparatory Magnet School raised $90,000 by mid-week and hopes to raise significantly more through the Cosby event.
The longtime actor and comedian is bringing some high-profile friends with him: Soledad O’Brien of CNN, former NBA star and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose, and NFL Hall of Famer Franco Harris.
