NeNe Leakes plays herself to perfection on 'The Game'
OPINION - Ne Ne Leakes made a guest appearance on BET's 'The Game' and starred as herself....
The infamous reality star we love to hate, NeNe Leakes appeared on last night’s The Game, as none other than herself. Ms. Leakes was bought in by Tasha Mack (Wendy Raquel Robinson) to act as the “design marquee” for the annual charity fashion show put on by the Sunbeams. NeNe made a huge entrance at the start of the show with a loud “Heeeeeeeeeeey!” Leakes showcased her pretend line of chic sexy clothing for the “voluptuous” woman.
It’s hard to judge her acting ability being that she didn’t stray too far from the finger-snapping, ‘hey-hey-hey’ energy that’s made her a standout on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
One thing I can say for sure is that NeNe looked amazing. She has come a long way from wearing low-cut tops without a bra. The faux fashion designer donned a sleek black dress that accentuated her curves. I can tell she’s been hitting the gym. She added a pair of large jeweled earrings giving her polished look a bit of a pop, or as NeNe would say “BAM!”
Unlike her Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mates, Tia Mowry and Wendy Raquel Robinson had nothing but kind words for NeNe#!. The women of The Game were guests on The Wendy Williams Show earlier this month, where they praised Leakes for her professionalism. Mowry-Hardrict said, “This girl, she is a diva…in a good way.”
NeNe has been making the TV show rounds as of late. She also had a spot on last week’s Glee. Leakes played Roz Washington, a swim coach, once again bringing out her unique personality. This time she berated a student wanting to try out for the team. Her scene was only about a minute long, but we will be seeing more of the Atlanta peach on Glee. She recently tweeted, “YES I have a recurring role on GLEE! I’m coach Roz Washington the synchronized swim coach!”
Regardless of your thoughts on Ms. Leakes one thing is for sure; she has a plan to stay “RICH!”
