Roosevelt Mondesire, 52, faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder for the attack on the 34-year-old woman, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Police said they responded to a 7-Eleven at 7088 Lawrence Road and found the woman with severe burns to her face and body, the affidavit said. Parts of her shirt were still on fire on the ground.
