NBC Chicago – A Chicago man helping with the Superstorm Sandy cleanup struck it big last week.
John Turner was working in a storm-ravaged area in New Jersey on November 4 when he purchased an instant poker ticket worth $100,000.
Turner, 38, says he plans to pay off some bills and possibly buy an investment property in the Chicago area.
The lucky winner works as a water mitigation and restoration technician for National Catastrophe Solutions of Chicago.
