Tyler Perry sent his close friend Oprah Winfrey such a large floral arrangement for her birthday that she ‘”strained her back picking it up.”

While Perry’s gift was thoughtful, the filmamker suggested on Facebook maybe next year he will just sent one rose instead of an elaborate bouquet.

The Alex Cross star posted about the unfortunate incident:

I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion. Well, I sent one to Oprah yesterday for her birthday. She strained her back picking it up. No joke! Feel better Oprah. Happy birthday. Sorry. 🙁 Next year I’m sending her one rose. 🙂
