Limbaugh links alleged Boston bombers to Obama, liberals: 'Of course they're all Democrats'
theGRIO REPORT - Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh called the alleged Boston Marathon bombers 'Democrats' on today's edition of 'The Rush Limbaugh Show'...
Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh linked the Boston Marathon bombers to President Barack Obama and liberals, calling them “Democrats” on today’s edition of The Rush Limbaugh Show.
“Now they’re all Democrats!” Limbaugh said in a clip on Media Matters regarding the Boston bombing suspects. “Well of course they’re Democrats.”
The conservative host first suggested the bombers should be upset with Obama because he is responsible for killing their “head honcho,” Osama bin Laden, but that in the media the Boston bombing suspects are “being portrayed as angry at Bush” for starting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Joker with a tweet celebrating Obama’s re-election,” Limbaugh said about one of the bombing suspects. “I’ve got the tweet, of course they’re all Democrats.”
‘You think these guys are voting for Romney’
Limbaugh then said: “You think these guys are voting for Romney?”
“Dzhokhar Tsarnaev sent pro-Obama tweets on election night. He retweeted thanks to Obama and then one that said ‘Barack you my dawg,'” claimed the radio host.
During an previous April 22nd show, Limbaugh asked, “Why is it so strange to believe that young kids can be radicalized in America?”
Responding to a caller during the same show, Limbaugh suggested the Boston bombing suspects became radicalized in America by liberals.
Blaming the ‘liberal elite’
“Boston’s a hubbub of liberal elite intellectual thought, all the universities there,” Limbaugh said. “And if you end up around the wrong people long enough and you’re young enough and impressionable enough, then that kind of thing can happen.”
Earlier this week the conservative commentator compared the photos used by the media of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to pictures of Trayvon Martin which circulated shortly after his death, saying that both were too innocent looking.
Limbaugh closed his argument by saying: “This is how we end up not thinking ill of bad people.”
