Sneak peek: Jamie Foxx as Electro in ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’

Comic book movie fans at this year’s Comic-Con were treated to a sneak peek of Jamie Foxx’s villainous role in the upcoming Marvel epic The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Foxx plays a Electro, a seemingly mild mannered man transformed into a powerful adversary for Spidey (played by Andrew Garfield) after being struck by lightening.

“You want to know how powerful I am?” Foxx’s character says ominously in the clip. “Well, I want to know too.”

The highly anticipated The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens April 17, 2014.
