'The Rock' ranks as 2013's most bankable actor

Robert Downey Jr.? Sandra Bullock? Brad Pitt? Nope. The most bankable star of 2013 is someone you might not suspect.

According to Forbes, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson takes top honors this year after starring in three hit movies: Fast & Furious 6, Pain & Gain and GI Joe: Retaliation.

These three films earned a total of $1.3 billion dollars globally.

His Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel also made the list (at $887 million), coming in fourth.

The 41-year-old action star will return to the big screen next year as Hercules and alongside Diesel in the seventh installment of the Fast series.
