Tyrese talks about losing ‘best man’ Paul Walker

During a recent episode of The Arsenio Hall Show, actor and singer Tyrese opened up about the death of his friend and Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker.

The 40-year-old Walker died in a car accident last month.

“Everyone knows what ended up happening in my world around the end of the year with Paul Walker, my best man. I was just with him four days before it happened,” he told Arsenio. “We were on the set shooting. It was a lot of shock and trauma for the family and all of us involved, because he’s just such a nice guy.”

“I’ve never been depressed in my life, but I was very sad and down, and it took me a minute to shake it,” he added.

The next Fast & Furious movie will still feature the character played by Paul Walker, that film’s release has been delayed until 2015.
