We are not immune to the foolishness that is Republican political obstruction. In fact it’s become the new norm, as demonstrated Wednesday by Republican Congressman Darrel Issa who thew a tantrum disrespecting a ranking black Democrat in his wake. Watch as Rep. Elijah Cummings, takes Issa to task for trying cut him off and short circuit the legislative process. What happened to civility in government?

Rep. Issa wasn’t the only one acting a fool this week.  Comedian Chelsea Handler needs to take 10 seats as well after the race-fueled firestorm she set off in the Twitterverse! Her attempts to explain that she was not a racist following her Academy Awards tweeting debacle only dug a hole deeper!

And more legal oddities in Florida as  Marissa Alexander fights for  the justice she deserves.  Her only crime was firing a warning shot over the head of an abusive husband in a state where firing bullets to kill young black teenagers does not lead to a murder conviction.
