The arrest of ex-Ku Klux Klan leader Frazier Glen Cross in a deadly attack on a Jewish Community Centers in Kansas City has brought increased scrutiny on white supremacist organizations.
The Huffington Post interviewed Johnny Lee Clary, currently a Grand Wizard in the Klan, and a former associated of Cross.
In their discussion, Clary distanced himself from Cross and raised doubts about his mental stability.
“I wanted nothing to do with him. I knew he was a lose cannon,” Clary said. “I knew good and well if I continued to be around somebody like that, I was going to end up dead.”
