Run for Justice: Two men ran from Atlanta to Ferguson

theGRIO REPORT - Two young men living in Atlanta decided they would run from Atlanta, Georgia to Ferguson, Missouri in an effort to raise awareness and pay tribute to slain teen Michael Brown.

Two young men living in Atlanta decided they would run from Atlanta, Georgia, to Ferguson, Missouri, in an effort to raise awareness and pay tribute to slain teen Michael Brown, who was shot and killed by a Ferguson police officer.

It took Londrelle Hall and Ray Mills over 20 days to make the more than 540 mile trip, averaging 35 miles of running and walking per day.

The pair took off from work and hit the road, following just a few weeks of training. Hall is a videographer and artist, and Mills runs a credit repair company.

“I had a reason to run, not to run from my problems, but to run towards a problem and run for the problems of the world and the problems of America and what’s going on now,” Hall told NBC News.

The two battled the elements while en route to Ferguson, documenting it along the way on their Instagram accounts.
