Tempers are flaring after 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley shot and killed Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu execution-style outside of the Tompkins Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant yesterday.

Brinsley had reportedly pledged online to kill two officers as retribution for the lack of justice shown toward Mike Brown and Eric Garner cases. Since the news broke, Rev. Al Sharpton and other organizers of the recent protests have publicly denounced the murders and made it clear they in no way support the actions taken by the alleged vigilante.
