Wendy Williams meme called 'transphobic' after Caitlyn Jenner reveal
theGRIO REPORT - Twitter responds to Caitlyn Jenner 'Vanity Fair' cover with Transphobic Wendy Williams meme...
Talk show queen Wendy Williams has become the face of a transphobic viral meme mocking Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover.
Several Twitter users have responded to the first look of Bruce Jenner as Caitlyn Jenner by circulating a photo of Williams implying that she is also transgender.
The photo of Williams is originally for a 2014 Uptown Magazine spread but has been made to look like a JET magazine cover with the words added, “Call me Walter.”
I hope Caitlyn Jenner gives Wendy Williams the strength to finally let it go and come clean for once. #ItsOkToTellTheWorldTheTruth

While the world is welcoming @Caitlyn_Jenner to the scene, I'm still tryna figure out who @WendyWilliams was before her operation.

Last year, in an interview with ABC News, Williams opened up about some the hurtful comments people have made regarding her looks throughout her career.
“People do think I was born a man,” she said. “That is absolutely not [true].”
“I get it. I’ve got a strong face, a strong body, I’m 5’11”. I wear wigs. I get it,” Williams added. “Do I get upset with it? No.”
