Hitman kills off-duty correction officer while sitting in car
On Thursday, the NYPD released the chilling video showing the fatal shooting of an off-duty correction officer while he was sitting in his car.
Police released the video as well as still photographs and have asked for help in identifying the shooter s well as another man involved in the death of Alastasia Bryan.
Bryan was seated in her car and was making a phone call when a man appeared and shot five bullets into the side window.
According to investigators, an inmate at Rikers Island put a hit out on her, though police said that she had little contact with the prisoners.
