Chaka Khan launches indie record label

Chaka Khan has reportedly launched her own independent record label, called iKhan Sounds.

Khan reportedly made the move because she wanted a little more control over her music and because she wanted her fair share of the proceeds from her music and performances as well.

In the spirit of her newly independent self, Khan is also set to release a new song called “I Love Myself” on June 16.
