She ready! Tiffany Haddish lands new Netflix series
Tiffany Haddish is giving us all our best moments this year from the way she hilariously announced the Oscar nominees and hooking us up in her new Groupon gig to dishing on hanging out with Queen Bey.
And now she’s lending her voice to a new animated series for Netflix.
The streaming service has given the animated comedy series Tuca and Berti a straight to series order. It will consist of 10 episodes and Tiffany Haddish will be voicing one of the lead characters.

The comedy is centered around the friendship between two 30-year-old bird-women who live in the same building. Tuca will be played by Haddish and is a care-free toucan and Bertie is a high strung, head in the clouds songbird. The role of Bertie has not yet been cast.
Tiffany Haddish saw her movie Girls Trip become a breakout hit and this new venture is sure to only help her continue to elevate her rising star. She will be seen next opposite Tracy Morgan in TBS’ The Last OG and opposite Kevin Hart in Night School.
Haddish has also signed a first-look deal with HBO.
But it’s her personal antics that keep fans tuned into their new favorite homegirl next door.
Earlier this year, Haddish shared a funny story about how Beyoncé helped her fix her wig and played peace maker to prevent Haddish from getting into a physical fight with another party guest. That was the origin story behind the adorable picture of Beyoncé peaking from behind Haddish’s hair. Apparently B agreed to take the pic in exchange for Haddish not cracking somebody’s skull.

In a new Beyoncé story she shared last week, Haddish recalls the time she was at a private after-party for a Jay-Z concert. Haddish and an actress she didn’t name were chatting with the Brooklyn rapper when the actress made the fatal mistake of touching Jay-Z’s chest.
According to Haddish, Beyoncé sauntered right over to the trio none too pleased. “Beyoncé came walking up like ‘Biiiiiiiiitch!’ She ain’t say that, but her demeanor and her body language and the way she walked up on her was like ‘Get your hand off my man’s chest,’” recounts Haddish in a TVOne Uncensored clip.
The award-winning comedic actress claims Beyoncé had a little talk with the other actress and that “some other stuff” happened that Haddish isn’t ready to share just yet. Whenever Haddish is ready to give up the goods, we’ll be all ears because if nothing else we know it will be an entertaining story.
