Meghan Markle‘s family has been trying to capitalize on her newfound popularity since her relationship with Prince Harry went public – and now her nephew has joined in.

Recently, Markle’s estranged nephew Tyler Dooley gave an interview where he claimed that although they grew up together, he has no hard feelings that his invite to her wedding somehow got lost in the mail.

In fact, as a wedding present (of sorts), he has decided to develop a potent strain of cannabis that’ll be called Markle’s Sparkle in her honor.

Even though marijuana isn’t legal in Great Britain, Dooley points out that Meghan grew up in the pro-cannabis state of California and Harry “enjoys a good party,” so if the royal couple ever visits him in Grants Pass, OR, he’d be more than happy to offer them a sample.

According to The Daily Mail he isn’t the only member of his family proudly involved with marijuana. His brother TJ, 26 – another of Meghan’s nephews – gives it to his dog for pain relief. Their mother Tracy, 52, has a job selling advertising, and many of her clients are marijuana dispensaries. She does his advertising as well.

“We are passionate about marijuana and all the good things it brings,” he told the publication.

Ironically, the 25-year-old, who says he smoked his first joint in high school, claims he no longer consumes marijuana himself.

His company, Southern Oregon Cannabis Connection, began in 2015, back when marijuana was first legalized in Oregon and has received a ton of extra publicity due to his cousin’s royal connections.

His three-acre growing facility which boasts a 6,000 square foot warehouse as well as two retail stores, also employs 25 people. In addition to pre-rolled joints, The stores offer customers hundreds of weed infused products ranging from traditional pre-rolled joints to  gummy bears, oils, vaporizers, cookies, and popcorn.

He now runs the company with two of his friends and wishes his aunt the best.
