Teen takes a life-size cutout of actor Michael B. Jordan to her prom as date.
Prom season is upon us and for one teen, she was determined to take her celebrity crush, even if it meant she had to print him out and carry him with her to and from the party.
A student at St. Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls named Dee (formerly known as Audeva,) took a life-size cardboard cut-out of Black Panther’s Michael B. Jordan to prom as her date, reports Vibe.

You heard it right: the teen is such a big fan of the movie star that she decided a traditional live date just wouldn’t do.

She took matters into her own hands, got a quite dapper copy of Jordan dressed in a suit, and printed out to be her junior prom date. The unusual date had to do since Jordan is in the middle of filming Creed 2.
Dee’s stiff date caught everyone’s eye on social media and her post garnered more than 100,000 likes.

Making Her Dream Reality
At the junior prom, Dee said she really did dance with her cardboard boo. She carried Jordan around and treated him as nicely as she would have treated a real date.
The teen hopes that one day she’ll actually meet the real man. She’s already had a conversation with him on social media after she got so excited seeing Jordan’s performance in Black Panther that she chomped down on her braces bracket and broke her retainer.
Naturally, she tweeted about what happened. Not only did Jordan surprise her with a response to her story, the generous celeb was kind enough to offer to foot the bill for her replacement retainer since he felt “partly responsible.”
