When it comes to Donald Trump, it appears that Kim Kardashian is all smiles.
Monday evening, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she discussed everything from the emotional release of Alice Marie Johnson, to her appearance on Family Feud.
Given how Kimmel has made it his business to slam the problematic president, he couldn’t help gleefully questioning Kardashian about her visit to the White House and how she was able to help a Black grandmother gain her freedom after being sentenced to life in prison for a first time, non-violent offense.

“I walk in and I’m like- I look around and I’m kind of starstruck by the Oval Office and the first thing I say in our meeting, I say, ‘Holy sh*t. We’re in the f**king Oval Office,’” Kardashian told the host. “That’s what I said to him. That was the first thing I said. And I had to take a moment to be like, ‘Wait, we’re really here.”
Not skipping a beat, Kimmel joked that it’s “especially weird” that Trump is in the Oval Office as well. Kardashian didn’t take the bait though and tactfully said she was “very grateful” and “very hopeful” that “more good things are gonna come out” of their conversations.
“Do you have a list now of people you might ask him to release from prison?” Kimmel asked.
“I do,” she responded.
“Is Melania on it?” he joked about the first lady.
The reality star then opened up about a phone call she received from the president while she was doing a naked photoshoot.
“My phone rings and I’m all glammed up and I’m like, ‘Get me a robe!’” Kardashian said.
“Did the president know you were just in a robe and nothing else,” Kimmel later asked. “Because he probably would have released the whole prison if you told him that.”
Kimmel also inquired if Kardashian and her husband Kanye West talk much about (or debate) politics. But according to Kardashian, they don’t.
“You know what, no, because I always respect what [another] person thinks,” she said. “And, you know, to make it clear, when Kanye, when we would talk about it, and we would talk about policies, and he doesn’t necessarily agree with his policies. He likes his personality and how he made it to be president when everyone really underestimated him . . . He’s not political, so he doesn’t really dig deep into what’s going on and I always knew that. I always knew what he meant.”
“I have nothing bad to say about the president,” she continued. “He has done something amazing.”
So, you have nothing to say about the president’s hateful policy of separating children from their parents at the border?
