Colin Kaepernick’s girlfriend isn’t mincing any words when it comes to her disdain for the NFL, and wants the whole world to know that her beloved is still being blackballed by shot-callers in the league him.

According to TMZ, this week, New York DJ and MTV host Nessa Diab gave her two cents after the couple’s good friend Eric Reid told the press that Kaepernick hadn’t given up on his career and is ready to stage an NFL comeback.

When Reid signed to the Carolina Panthers he let it be known that he had mixed emotions about returning to the field, given that his friend wasn’t afforded the same opportunity.

“It’s bittersweet,” he told The Undefeated at the time. “I won the game, but Colin is at home with my kids. He should be playing.”

Reid said Kaepernick not only wants to play, “He’s ready to play.”

Diab not only confirmed everything Reid said but also emphasized that “all the teams know” Kaepernick is NFL ready and are complicit in his blackballing.

“Colin trains everyday. All the teams know. But they’d rather keep blackballing him. The league, owners & mgmt are the ones who don’t want him to play,” she said of the backlash he’s endured after kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games.

She added, “Journalists should ask the league why they’re blackballing Colin.”

This isn’t the first time Diab has spoken out publicly in her man’s defense. In 2017 she tweeted two pictures; one of Samuel L. Jackson from his role in Django Unchained where he portrayed a house slave particularly loyal to the white owner, and the other of NFL player Ray Lewis standing in a similar stance with Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti.

Lewis, who has often been criticized for not standing up to support Kaepernick’s stance on racial bias despite being a Black athlete himself, later revealed that he believed the Ravens were making plans to sign Kaepernick until the controversial tweet caused them to reconsider.
