Roseanne Barr takes cheap shot at Kamala Harris; women in #MeToo movement

The actress, who was a lightning rod last year after racist tweets of hers surfaced, came for a whole list of woman newsmakers during an interview

Roseanne Barr has spent the last several months reeling from backlash at the offensive tweets that got her fired from the reboot of her ABC sitcom. But now she’s setting her sights on the #MeToo movement, Sen. Kamala Harris, Christine Blasey Ford and a host of other women.

According to the New York Daily News, Sunday, during an interview with conservative commentator Candace Owens, the comedian didn’t pull any punches while discussing politics, Hollywood, race, religion and the impact of #MeToo movement.

“If you don’t run out the room, and go, ‘Excuse me, you don’t talk to me that way, you don’t do that to me, excuse me,’ and leave, but you stayed around because you’re like,” Barr said, feigning tears, “ ‘I thought maybe he was gonna give me a writing job,’ well you ain’t nothing but a hoe.”

“They’re pretending that they didn’t go to trade sexual favors for money,” the 66-year-old added.

Owens, who has been a controversial figure in her own right, echoed Barr’s sentiments, even going as far as to compare the feminist movement to white supremacy.

Owens and Barr also discussed their less than favorable feelings for Democratic presidential hopeful Harris, who Barr refers to as “Kama Sutra Harris.”

In reference to former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown admitting his previous romantic relationship with Harris over 20 years ago, Owens said, that Harris “slept her way to the top.”

But Barr corrected her, saying, “We all know what she did… she slept her way to the bottom.”

The disgraced actress also suggested that Ford, who last year testified against then-Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh, “should be in prison” after accusing him of sexual assault.

“White women privilege,” sniped Barr.

During the interview she also clarifies that she judges women differently because she has two sons — 23 and 40 — and five grandsons.

“I know a hoe when I see one,” she shares. “I’m telling ya, they come for my boys ’cause my boys, you know, I’m their mom and they’re, you know, we have a little bit of money. So I got an eagle eye for this thing.”
