Did it take Wendy Williams’ husband confessing all his sins for her to finally admit their marriage is over?
According to The Blast, the daytime talk show host only filed for divorce after her husband Kevin Hunter made the bold decision to “come clean on everything.”
“Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together,” a personal representative for Williams told PEOPLE in a statement. “No additional comment will be provided at this time.”
Now sources close to the couple are reporting to The Blast that Williams’ choice to file for divorce took place quite a while ago although she has been putting on a brave face for her viewing audience. Hunter allegedly went to his wife to confess all of his alleged transgressions, prior to her electing to enter a sober living facility.

After more 20 years of marriage, Williams took the confession of ongoing infidelity poorly, and the sources say that is what caused her relapse and decision to legally part ways.
She reported had her husband served with the legal documents during a taping of her talk show The Wendy Williams Show, where he serves as an executive producer.
According to the Daily Mail, Williams is worth an estimated $60 million, and her husband as been accused of using her fortune to bankroll an A-list lifestyle for his alleged mistress Sharina Hudson.
