Gregg Leakes’ cancer diagnosis has been touch and go for a while but on Monday he and his wife Nene Leakes praised the results of a scan that revealed some great news for the Real Housewives of Atlanta reality TV stars.
“Look at God! We are over joyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg’s Pet Scan he took last week! Test show, wait for It…..WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! Yes God!” NeNe captioned a pic of a smiling Gregg.
“Now i can go give Gregg a black eye 👊🏾since so many thinks he’s abused,” she playfully added.

The devastating cancer battle put a strain on the celebrity couple’s marriage, which was documented on season 11 of the hit Bravo show. NeNe even admitted she had considered a second divorce from her husband.
But last Thursday, NeNe told ET.com at the Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies’ Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon in Beverly Hills where the organization honored her with their “Woman of Achievement” award for her cancer advocacy work, that she and Gregg “are doing good.”
“Now, there are people who do not understand what a caretaker role is, or they just didn’t understand I was frustrated,” she admitted to ET. “‘Why are you frustrated? You’re not the one with cancer!’ But, you know, I was frustrated because I was a caretaker, and being a caretaker’s hard. It’s one of the roles, where you don’t get any shine for that. You just be a caretaker and shut up!”
