Bette Midler wants Justin Timberlake to apologize to Janet Jackson for infamous Super Bowl ‘wardrobe malfunction’

The singer says that if Justin Timberlake can apologize for being caught carousing with his co-star, he can do the same for the 'Control' singer

Bette Midler thinks if Justin Timberlake wants to start issuing public apologies for bad behavior, Janet Jackson needs to be right at the top of his list.

According to ET Online, Monday, the music legend took to her Twitter page to address Timberlake’s recent public apology for being caught on camera holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans last month.

“A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgement—but let me be clear—nothing happened between me and my costar,” wrote the singer in his apology. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior… I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”

But instead of being moved, Midler wondered aloud why Instead, Bette wondered when Timberlake didn’t show the same remorse towards “Janet Jackson’s boob” back in 2004 after he exposed it on stage during the conclusion of their Super Bowl XXXVIII Halftime show.

To her point, many have previously noted that while Jackson experienced immense backlash and financial loss from the incident, Timberlake not only never received the amount of backlash, he was even invited back to the Super Bowl to perform in 2018.

The fact that he never came to her defense or showed solidarity for her plight has soured certain fans against him ever since, and clearly Bette Midler is amongst that group.
