Ray Fisher, the actor known for his role as Cyborg in Warner Bros.’ 2017 hit Justice League, recently refuted the studio’s allegations that he neglected to speak with their investigator.

Fisher and the production company have been in a dispute since he alleged that Justice League co-director Joss Whedon had committed misconduct on set. He also named the film’s producers, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, as enablers for Whedon’s actions.

On July 1, Fisher tweeted “on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.”

Warner Bros. opened up a probe into Fisher’s claims.

On Friday, Fisher posted a tweet claiming Walter Hamada, Warner Bros.’ president of DC Films, attempted to throw Whedon and Berg under the bus so that Johns would be spared. The following day, the studio issued a statement disputing Fisher’s claims and accused him of refusing to cooperate with their investigation, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Fisher countered Warner Bros.’ response to him with a series of tweets that included an email screenshot. He stated he spoke with the investigator via Zoom on Aug. 26.

“Thank you all for the support,” he tweeted, “and for seeing through @wbpictures desperate and scattershot attempt to discredit me to continue protecting those in power.”

Fisher says the email screenshot is a message he sent to both his team and to the Screen Actors Guild after meeting with an investigator. He also stated that he left the conversation early once he discovered there was an unidentified witness on the line, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

His post went on to allege the studio “has escalated this to an entirely different level,” however, the superhero actor went on to say, he’s “ready to meet the challenge.”

According to Warner Bros.’ statement, Fisher has been in talks with the studio about reprising his role as Cyborg in their upcoming Flash movie with other members of the Justice League.
