Actress and songstress Amber Riley recently shared that she had an unpleasant interaction with an “older white man” wearing a Trump hat.
Riley, 34, said that the man approached her car as she pulled into a parking lot to enter a store. She said he took “his Trump hat off, used it as some kind of badge telling me I needed to stop.”
She said the man jumped in front of her car and tried to direct her to leave. “I was like, ‘whatever, move along’ … this motherf*****r spit on my car!”
Riley started the video with a question: “What does being a Trump supporter mean?”

She said that she believed the man saw her, a Black woman, and acted as if he had authority over her.
“I really honestly don’t have words for this. I’m will beat your a**,” she said, “I don’t condone violence, but I do condone self-defense.”

“I can ignore your racist bulls**t,” she added, “but when it comes to assault, this is not a game.”
“How much more,” Riley asked, “do you expect Black people to take?”
She said she went to look for the man inside the store: “I’m done being nice.”
