Boosie was in Dallas to attend the funeral of friend and fellow rapper, Mo3, who was shot and killed on the highway on November 11, when a car pulled up beside him and opened fire. He was 28.

On Friday, Boosie was present during a public event to pay tribute to his fallen friend. “I appreciate all the times we had together,” he said while at the event.

He took to social media in reaction to the rapper’s death, saying, “I’m lost for words. Mo3 see u when I get there.”

Mo3 was signed to Boosie’s BadAzz Music Syndicate and the two rappers collaborated earlier this year.
