A prominent California medical school has apologized for conducting unethical experimental medical treatments on 2,600 incarcerated men in the 1960s and 1970s.
In a candidate questionnaire, Ann Hsu cited “unstable” families and “lack of parental encouragement” as challenges to educating Black and brown students.
