Jimmy Fallon and The Roots have already scored viral hits with their adorable acappella versions of the Sesame Street theme song, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and “Blurred Lines,” and now alongside Miley Cyrus they’ve fashioned their own version of the controversial singer’s smash “We Can’t Stop.”
Appearing in Brady-Bunch-style squares, the late night host, his house band and the twerking pop star breathe new life into the ubiquitous single.
The performance is a far cry from the singer’s more explicit antics of late, but unlike some of her more recent choices, this one is earning widespread praise.
