Omarosa Manigault-Newman, reality show villain and former presidential staffer, allegedly may have secretly recorded White House conversations. That is according to a source (who is definitely, absolutely, not Omarosa) who spilled the beans to the New York Daily News.

Last month, Omarosa abruptly exited her White House role as the Director of Communication for the White House Office of Public Liaison, a job no one was quite able to define. A day-in-the-life profile piece in the Daily Beast offered many more questions than answers.

On top of that, Omarosa’s White House exit was shrouded in controversy over rumors that she had to be physically escorted off the grounds. Besides a couple interviews that were essentially bids for a book deal, Omarosa has been tight-lipped.

According to New York Daily News sources, Omarosa was known to record meetings and conversations and she is now concerned that she may be pulled into Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion investigation.

These sources also say that Omarosa has had meetings with high profile lawyers, including Lisa Bloom and Monique Pressley, the respective former counsels for Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby.

Omarosa, who has known the president for some time since her stint on the Apprentice, could reportedly make up to $10 million for a book deal about her time in the White House.

She was only one of two African Americans hired to work closely in senior roles with Trump and has expressed her “frustration” with often-times being the only person of color in the room.

Do you think Omarosa actually has receipts or is this just another set of rumors to help her get a book deal?
