Melissa Beck says her family would have died in their mobile home if not for the actions of school bus driver Teresa Stephens.
Beck, her son, nephew, husband and mother-in-law were fast asleep around 6:40 Friday morning when they heard a loud bus horn.
They quickly realized their home was on fire and the two 15-month-old boys were in harms way. All managed to escape unharmed.

Stephens says she called her supervisor as soon as she saw smoke coming from the house. She was instructed not to get off of the bus, so she did the only other thing she could: blow the horn.
Melissa Beck says the family never would have awakened if they hadn’t heard the horn.
Within three minutes of their escape the home was fully engulfed.
