There are new details on the alleged beating of 16-year-old, Chad Holley, a burglary suspect. In total, 12 Houston police officers have been disciplined.
Seven of the 12 have been fired from the police department and five were suspended. Also, four officers were arrested and charged with misdemeanors. Court papers reveal what role each officer played in the alleged beating that was caught on surveillance tape from a nearby storage business.
According to a probable cause report, Officer Raad Hasaan, who has been charged with official oppression and violation of civil rights of a person in custody, allegedly kicked Holley with his foot.
Likewise, a probable cause report states Officer Philip Bryan, who has also been charged with official oppression and violation of civil rights of a person in custody, allegedly kicked Holley with his foot and hit him with his hand.
A probable cause report for Officer Drew Ryser, who has been charged with official oppression, allegedly kneed Holley.
Additionally, a probable cause report on the fourth officer arrested and charged, Andrew Blomberg, who has been charged with official oppression and violation of civil rights of a person in custody, allegedly struck Holley with his foot.
Each of the officers turned themselves in overnight and were released on bond.
