Frozen streets and rainfall didn’t stop Reggie Redding from getting a family its Domino’s pizza.
Lyle and Ginny Maude Schaefer ordered a pizza to be delivered before the streets froze up, not realizing the challenge it would present as they live on a hill.
“I had no idea when we ordered the pizza that it was going to become such an event,” Ginny Maude Schaefer said.
Not being able to go up the hill because his car stopped and slid down, Redding took the hill by foot.
“I slipped,” he recalled, “and my glasses had fallen off my face, so they were gone.
Lyle Schaefer said he got a call from Redding and “told him, ‘You don’t have to deliver it.’ And he said, ‘Oh no; when you’re hungry, you want to get your dinner.’”
Twenty minutes later, Redding finally arrived at the Schaefer house.
