From NBC Sports/Pro Football Talk:
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick threw an interception at the end of Sunday’s loss to the Packers, but he wasn’t second-guessing himself afterward.
“I took a shot at the end zone,” Vick said. “I could have checked it down to the back. I got greedy and took a shot at the end zone. I didn’t throw the right ball that I wanted to and it got picked out. It was a bad way to go out, but at least I went out swinging . . . It’s hindsight now. It’s something I have to learn from…. I thought we were going to win the game. I had an upbeat feeling about myself. I felt like I was in control.”
Although Vick suffered an ankle injury late in the game, he said that wasn’t a factor in his underthrown ball into the end zone.
“It wasn’t that bad,” Vick said of his ankle. “I rolled it. It was nothing that was going to keep me from going back into the game.”
