Body found in river may be missing Atlantic City mom

From NBC Philadelphia:

Atlantic City Police are on their way to Philadelphia to determine if a body pulled from the Schuylkill River is that of a missing New Jersey mother.

Authorities say that a biker along West River Drive called police after spotting a body in the water Tuesday morning.

According to sources, the recovered body was that of a black woman. They say she was handcuffed and duct-taped.

Nadirah Ruffin was taken from her cousin’s Atlantic City home during a violent invasion on March 26.

Investigators say that three men and a woman wearing masks forced the 19-year-old mother out of the house at gunpoint.

No one has seen or heard from her since.
