NCAA star Pryor says no to CFL's Roughriders

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The attorney for Terrelle Pryor says the former Ohio State quarterback has reviewed material from the Saskatchewan Roughriders and is not interested in playing in the Canadian Football League.

The Roughriders own the CFL negotiating rights to Pryor and had expressed interest in him. Pryor announced Tuesday that he would not return to Ohio State for his senior season in the wake of an NCAA suspension and ongoing investigation.

Pryor’s attorney, Larry James, said the offer from the CFL “was not sufficient to whet his taste buds.” James said Pryor’s next step would be get a trainer and an agent, and he could still be part of an NFL supplemental draft later this summer.
