RZA made his name from his Wu Tang days and most recently producing tracks for Kanye West, but the rapper-producer is cultivating his acting skills. And according to reports, the rapper has landed a role in one of Hollywood’s most anticipated sequels, G.I. Joe.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, RZA will be joining the cast of the action movie, which has already roped in Channing Tatum and Dwayne “The Rock” Thompson. His character is named the Blind Master, a martial arts guru who trains the Joe commandoes.

RZA along with the rest of the cast will be working with director Jon Chu, who’s most recent major project was Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which raked in $53 million dollars worldwide. While G.I. Joe may not have the Biebs, it will pick up where its first installment, G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra, left off.

While playing a martial arts guru may seem like a stretch, RZA has been steadily landing small roles in several big films in the past years, including American Gangster, _The Next Three Days _and Repo Men.
