Standing amongst a crowd of supporters during a campaign stop, Republican presidential candidate hopeful, Michele Bachmann, shared that she frequently battles debilitating migraines, but they will not interfere with her ability to run the country.

“I have prescribed medication that I take on occasion whenever symptoms arise and they keep my migraines under control,” said Bachmann. “But I’d like to be abundantly clear my ability to function effectively will not affect my ability to serve as commander in chief.”
Despite her admission, according to a NBC Wall Street Journal survey, Bachmann has been leading in the polls, moving up to a 16 percent approval rate among primary republican voters, second place to Mitt Romney.
