An Oakland Park woman charged with helping her boyfriend run a prostitution operation out of their home plead guilty in court Wednesday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Laschell Harris, 37, admitted helping women for sex in an enterprise known as the ‘Boom Boom Room’.
Exposito’s Injunction Denied By Judge
She plead guilty to one count of sex trafficking of a teenaged girl in exchange for four other charges being dropped in a deal with prosecutors, the paper reports. The charge carries a sentence of at least 10 years in prison.
