A Miami woman and her young infant daughter who had been missing since Sunday and were feared to be in danger were found alive early Thursday morning.
Miami Police say 18-year-old Shatevia Rice and her 6-month-old infant, Tamia, were located hours after the teen posted cryptic messages on social media indicating she was in danger.
Police say Rice and her daughter left her mother’s home in the 400 block of Northwest 48th Street on Sunday to go cut her friend’s hair.
Her mother, Neicy Drayton, reported her missing early Wednesday and police began to put up flyers and ask the public for help.
