Last night, Monica and Brandy premiered their highly anticipated video for “It All Belongs To Me,” their first collaboration since their 1998 Grammy Award winning hit “The Boy Is Mine.”
The ladies reunited last month to film the visuals for their woman-power anthem, directed by Chris Robinson, at a luxurious house in Los Angeles. In the video, the duo take on Thelma and Louise personas, getting revenge on boyfriends who did them wrong.
In a little over four minutes, Brandy dumps her man, tells him to log off of his Facebook, and takes back the computer she bought for him. Meanwhile, Monica places her ex’s clothes and expensive possessions in a luxury car she bought for him, then proceeds to blow it up.
The song will appear on both singers’ upcoming albums. Monica’s New Life is due out April 10, and Brandy’s album, Two Eleven, which will be released in June.
