Dwyane Wade made four kids ecstatic recently by joining them for an impromptu game of basketball. Wade made a surprise appearance at the Thompson Street Playground in the SoHo section of Manhattan after his Miami Heat team won a game against the New York Knicks. Wade describes the moment at the part as “real life” and not a “commercial.” The Daily News.com reports:
Four kids on a New York City playground watched their dreams of playing against the NBA’s finest come to fruition in a flash.
Dwyane Wade stopped by Thompson Street Playground in SoHo on Sunday after the Miami Heat beat the Knicks, 93-85 to play a little pickup basketball.
“This is not a commercial people,” Wade says in short video that documents part of his day in New York. “This is real life.”
